Students, you’re not alone: the Twitter zeitgeist on finals

What people are saying about final exams

Twitter is a “microblogging” site, which basically means it’s like Facebook status updates without the Facebook. It’s fun to look and see what people are saying about a given topic. Students here on the Rindge campus of Franklin Pierce are in their last week of classes (May 6 is the last day) and then finals come soon after.  Click here to see real-time results of a search for everyone mentioning “finals” or “final exams” on Twitter.

Or if your obsession du jour is the H1 N1 (swine flu) virus, you can set up your own Twitter account and follow the CDC Emergency updates.  (The Centers for Disease Control have just recently joined the social web.)
